Homework

Your child will be given homework on Fridays, which should be returned by the following Wednesday please.  It is good for your child to get into a routine of doing homework and handing it in on time, in preparation for secondary school.

Homework for Friday October 7th can be found at:   http://www.primaryresources.co.uk/geography/docs/our_island.doc

Swimming

Your swimming lessons are on Wednesday at 9.30am.   We will have to leave school at 9.00am in order to be at the pool in time. Don't forget your costume, towel, your swimming hat and the £2.00.

                                     Book Bags

Please remember to bring your book bags and reading record books in to school every day as you will need them in our reading sessions.  If you need a new book bag, the cost is £3.00.  The orange record books should be kept in your bags, and your parents can use these books to write comments about your reading.

                                  Water Bottles

If you want, you can bring a water bottle to school to keep in the classroom and to use at lunchtimes when you get thirsty.

                                       PE Kit

Please remember to bring your PE kit on Mondays, as well as a pair of trainers in case the weather is good enough to go outside.

Don't forget children, give your parents a treat, do the washing up sometimes, make them cups of tea and be kind, thoughtful people.  Parents need a rest sometimes!
