  WOW!

Has your child done something new?

Something that made you feel proud?

Are they able to recognise labels in the environment?

Can they make connections in their learning at home?

Did they surprise you by doing or explaining something that you did not know they new?

Have they done something for the first time,  such as swim a short distance on their own?

 

If your child has done any of these things, please write it on a 'WOW' slip, and give it to Miss Bowman or Mrs Elliot, so that it can be added to your child's Learning Diary.

PE days - Wednesday and Friday - please can PE kit (T shirt and shorts) be brought into school on Monday and taken home on Friday.

Reading/Sounds - Please bring in every day and take home each night.  Please try to hear your child read and say their sounds every night.

Points - In order to encourage to remember their book bags and PE kits, I have introduced a reward system.  Each time children remember their kit and book bag, they get a point. They are rewarded when they have gained 6 points!

Focus Activities - Each morning between 8.45 and 9.00am, the children will be given focussed activities to work on.  I would be delighted if parents could spend this time supporting their child or a small group in the classroom with us.
